These Terms govern your use of www.vavaonion.com and all transactions with Vava Onion (“we,” “us”), a Dubai-based onion export company sourcing from India. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Ordering & Contracts

1.1 Quote Validity

• Price quotes are valid for 14 days, subject to:

  • Onion market fluctuations

  • Container availability

1.2 Order Confirmation

• Binding contracts require:

  • Signed proforma invoice

  • 30% advance payment (or LC issuance)

2. Product Specifications

Note: Moisture content may vary ±2% due to seasonal conditions.

3. Shipping & Delivery

3.1 Logistics

• FOB Mumbai: Buyer arranges onward shipping.

• White Onions: +2°C to +4°C refrigerated containers (extra charges apply).

• Delays: Not liable for port strikes/force majeure.

3.2 Documentation

We provide:

• Commercial Invoice

• Phytosanitary Certificate

• Certificate of Origin

4. Payments

4.1 Accepted Methods

• Bank Transfer (SWIFT)

• Irrevocable LC at sight

4.2 Late Payments

• 1.5% monthly interest on overdue amounts.

• Shipment held until full payment.

5. Claims & Returns

5.1 Quality Disputes

• Must be reported within:

  • 7 days of container receipt

  • 48 hours for refrigerated shipments

• Requires SGS inspection report at buyer’s cost.

5.2 Remedies

• Replacement shipment (next available vessel)

• Partial refund for verified defects

6. Intellectual Property

• Website content © Vava Onion.

• Buyer may not reuse our:

  • Lab test reports for third-party sales

  • Private label designs without permission

7. Limitation of Liability

Maximum liability = 110% of invoice value. Excludes:

• Improper storage by buyer

• Customs rejection due to import regulation changes

8. Governing Law

• Disputes resolved under Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) laws.

• Arbitration in Dubai (English language).
